We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Manager of Administrative Services for our prestigious legal firm. This role is integral to our operations and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all administrative functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our firm, and providing strategic planning and leadership. This position requires a deep understanding of compliance, exceptional recruiting practices, and the ability to coordinate the work of other legal departments effectively.


Responsibilities


  • Coordinate the work of other legal departments to ensure alignment with our firm's goals and objectives. This includes facilitating communication and collaboration between departments.
  • Manage the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new staff. This includes developing and implementing effective recruiting practices to attract top talent.
  • Supervise administrative staff, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and on time. This includes providing training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This includes keeping up-to-date with changes in the legal landscape that may affect our operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Ensure that our firm's administrative operations align with industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Provide regular reports on departmental performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in supervising and managing administrative staff.
  • Strong understanding of legal compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage the work of multiple departments effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a law firm or legal department.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Proven experience in recruiting and talent management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
