Job Description

A logistics company in Fountain Valley has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a senior member of the Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will possess a “can-do” attitude, strong written/verbal and interpersonal skills, and exemplary time management skills. This is a HYBRID opportunity: Hybrid (in-office 2 days/week). Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm $32-$35/hr



CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide executive-level support to senior managers.

Plan, book and calendar business travel arrangements (flights, hotel & car) - managers travel 50% of the time!

Organize and execute the scheduling for internal and external meetings; coordinate catering needs, if applicable.

Process and reconcile monthly expenses.

Manage email/correspondence and prepare presentations in PowerPoint.

Serve on the company's Employee Focused teams, organizing the meetings and managing the budget.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

4+ years’ experience in an administrative support role

Lean Six Sigma certification or PMP certificatation highly desirable

Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Detail-oriented and extremely organized

Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Team player with “can-do” attitude and a demonstrated ability to collaborate, accept direction, and engage

Friendly, enthusiastic, interpersonal, and outgoing characteristics

College degree preferred
