PathPoint, a leader in providing support services that empower people with disabilities, mental illness, and disadvantages to be valued members of our community, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Simi Valley, CA.
- Help plan different events including open houses and parties.
- Assist with different accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable, billing, and bank deposits.
- Manage inventory of office supplies in the Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks offices.
- Assist with various Human Resources projects, including scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and onboarding new employees.
- Maintain various databases and e-filing systems.
- Open and distribute daily incoming mail, assist with large mailings, and maintain mailing lists.
- Be the first point of contact for all callers and visitors.
- Valid driver's license with at least 5 years driving history, a satisfactory driving record, and use of a vehicle with current registration and insurance.
- High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 2 years of office/administrative experience.
- Must pass pre-employment Live Scan DOJ fingerprint background check, TB test and basic health screening.
- Professional verbal and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service approach.
