Logistics - Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator

: PLEASE NOTE: While this is listed as a VMI position, the associate will NOT be driving a vehicle.

• Will assist with tracking inventory and cycle counting.
• A large portion of the position will be loading/unloading vending machines in the warehouse.
• May use a pallet jack.
• Currently there are 8 vending machines and 13 cabinets the temp will be stocking with PPE in multiple building across the complex.
• Noisy environment, ear protection is available if requested. Will be provided by Vallen.
• Need someone organized. When stocking materials, they will need to be neat and orderly.
• Safety glassed required. Will be provided by Vallen.
• Will lift up to 50# on occasion unassisted.
• Computer skills needed. Will use computer daily to issue product and submit work orders.
• Good customer service skills required.
• There will be a lot of walking in this position.
• Temp to hire.
• Will use golf cart to transport materials.
• Steel toe shoes required.
• Warehouse in not temp controlled. It can get hot in the summer.
• Will assist with shipping and receiving.
• Hours: Mon-Fri 730am-430pm. Occasional OT.

Job Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of relevant warehouse, inventory counting or delivery, experience. High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
Relevant Experience Should Include
Willingness to learn and work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.
Must be a self-starter with the willingness to work with supervision.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Demonstrated ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner.
Possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution.
Must have the ability to establish strong working relationships with customers, co-workers and management.
Willing to gain knowledge of company products.
Ability to represent Vallen in a professional manner projecting a Winning Team approach to customer service.
May work in extreme hot or cold environments; various facilities may have dusty conditions.
