Who we are looking for:
First Eagle is seeking a Vendor Management Specialist, reporting to our Vendor and Contract Manager. The successful candidate will support and focus on corporate procurement, RFP processes, user inventory management, and vendor/contract consolidation.
What you will do:

  • Manage the firm’s corporate travel agency relationship and produce travel-related analytics. Provide vendor management and escalation support for departmental travel administrators.
  • Expense Analysis, Forecasting, and Budgeting
    • Support the development of a comprehensive operational and technology budget, working with Financial, Planning, & Analysis Teams
    • Analyze utilization patterns and identify departmental optimization strategies
    • Run reports using excel and other databases, and create presentations for leadership meetings using PowerPoint and Excel tools
  • Corporate RFP Processes
    • Support departmental inquiries regarding new products or services, and work with Business Optimization and Project Execution Team
    • Assist in the collection of business requirements and drafting requests for proposals (systems, subscriptions & event venues)
    • Work with Third-Party Sourcing Center to administrate formal RFPS and auctions within the SAP Ariba Platform
  • Support the development of a comprehensive operational and technology budget, working with Financial, Planning, & Analysis Teams
  • Run reports using excel and other databases, and create presentations for leadership meetings using PowerPoint and Excel tools
  • Maintain corporate subscription inventory for all business areas in a subscription management system
  • Utilize data to facilitate and support general contract consolidation and corporate cost reduction exercises
  • Work with Third-Party Sourcing Center to administrate formal RFPS and auctions within the SAP Ariba Platform
  • Work with team members to coordinate procurement activities across services, systems, external data providers, and real estate

The qualities you should have:

  • Able to establish priorities and make decisions on scope of work; keen attention to detail concerning processes, documentation, and analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; with an ability to draft effective, succinct emails and crisp presentations
  • Self-starting, entrepreneurial and resourceful – someone who “makes it happen” with a can-do attitude
  • Previous business analysis or project management experience in supporting the following vendor solutions:
    • Market Data Inventory systems (e.g., TRG FITS, MDSL, Screen, Infomatch)
    • SAAS Management Systems (e.g., Zylo, Productiv, Torri, Flexera)
    • Vendor Risk Management Systems (e.g., IHS Markit KY3P, CyberGRX, Onetrust)
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in financial services
  • Vendor Risk Management Systems (e.g., IHS Markit KY3P, CyberGRX, Onetrust)
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills; resourceful and highly-dependable
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze large amounts of data, with the ability to create graphical displays for executive dashboards
  • SAAS Management Systems (e.g., Zylo, Productiv, Torri, Flexera)
  • Market Data Inventory systems (e.g., TRG FITS, MDSL, Screen, Infomatch)
  • Excellent client service and proven ability to work with both end-users and executive staff; proven success working in cross functional teams

Base Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
