Logistics Coordinator Jobs

Coda Search is partnering with a global trading firm with offices located in New York, NY. This is a dynamic firm that is a market leader within there space and operate in over 52 countries across the globe with revenues in excess of $10BN annually. The team is seeking to hire a Logistics Coordinator who will be supporting a prominent trading desk overseeing and facilitating the transportation of commodity products which include partnering with internal/external stakeholders, reviewing contracts, inventory management and optimizing processes across the group. The role will sit on a team of 4 and will be a blend of logistics, supply chain and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the transportation and shipment process for high-volume products

Negotiate/review contracts and partner with external stakeholders

Prepare daily container schedules with various vendors

Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Analyze and report on monthly KPI’s

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required

3+ years of experience

Prior experience with a commodity product

Excellent communication and time management skills
