Job Description

THE JOB / AP Vendor Management Coordinator


***The location for this role is in Stamford, CT


Octagon is looking for someone to join our Finance team. This role will primarily be responsible for onboarding new vendors, including building relationships with vendors and Octagon account teams, and vendor maintenance. The ideal candidate should be detailed oriented, organized, have a strong work ethic, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Build relationships with our vendors; support them with submission of required setup documentation
  • On-board new vendors in Range (Range/Ariba is our vendor onboarding system)
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
  • Build relationships with internal Octagon teams to support them with their vendors
  • Vendor invoice issues – work with the vendor to get necessary information updated
  • Exercise the highest degree of customer service
  • Vendor Maintenance – work with vendors to update information in Range
  • Other duties as requested

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • All applicants will need to provide proof of COVID vaccination or contact the organization’s HR team if eligible for an exemption.
  • SAP and Ariba experience preferred
  • One or more years of work experience in a professional service setting with previous accounting experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate with client service staff effectively
  • MS Office, organizational, research, and analytical skills


Compensation + Benefits:


The salary for this role is $45,000.
