What This Position is All About:
The Coordinator, Procurement & Logistics will report to the Sr. Mgr. Procurement & Analytics. They will coordinate various projects that cover both procurement and logistics operations. Key components of this role consist of supporting the procurement team in supply purchases, store purchase analysis, vendor payments and problem solving. This person will not only prepare and edit contracts between the company and potential vendors but also assess contractor performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts. The position entails communication and presentation with internal and external customers. Additional responsibilities include invoice auditing and processing, managing supplier integrations and catalog management. An ideal candidate will be an experienced and proficient analyst with strategic business thinking skills and who is capable of using strong technical skills that delivers accurate reporting, purchasing, and highlights areas of opportunity.
As a Coordinator, Procurement & Logistics You Will:
- Manage fast- paced project timelines, provide updates in supply trackers with status, and escalate risks.
- Provide support with daily / weekly financial reporting & forecast reporting. As well as conduct RFP’s - compile supplier bids, assist in supplier shortlisting and aid in supplier negotiations.
- Administrative tasks including onboarding and communicating with vendors, usage reports and PO issuance.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and GL coding issues.
- Maintaining acceptable inventory levels as well as collecting, evaluating, and reporting data in order to manage inventory. Analyzes inventory records. Create accurate purchase orders, clearly communicate availability dates, lead times and usage.
- Liaison with stores and Sr. Mgr., planning seasonal purchases and ensuring stores are adequately serviced, participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline and build efficiencies in the process.
You Also Have:
- Experience in project management, procurement/supply chain/logistics/ financial analytics
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university (preferably in Business Management, Mathematics, Supply Management, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal, client facing and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills and innovative mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently.
- Highly flexible and adaptable, ability to work in ambiguity.
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
