Scope: Execute all logistics tasks related to Site warehouses located in Melville and Hillsborough, NJ, and all outbound and inbound logistics to all Kedrion plants & warehouses, aligning all data systems. This includes the shipment of all plasma and paste onsite and offsite. The individual will assure compliance with all FDA, DOT, ISBT, CTPAT, OSHA, VAWD, cGMPs and applicable policies, regulations and certifications including training, documentation, standard operating procedures, and corporate policies. Perform basic warehouse functions as directed by the Logistic Supervisor or Manager.

Accountabilities include ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and environmental and labor regulations.
Specific tasks
- Perform inbound and outbound shipments to customers, external warehouses, domestic and International, including samples shipments.
- Have awareness of costs as they relate to the budget
- Perform all basic warehouse work as directed by the warehouse logistics Supervisor or Manager
- Perform or enter required transactions in the SAP system
- Communicate well with Logistics Supervisor or designee and all other sites both internal and external to Kedrion.
- Create shipment documents (Packing List, Commercial invoice, Transfer Orders in SAP).
- Ensure all shipping electronic documents generated and received will be retained and filed properly.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
- Work safely in all work environments and ensure compliance with all appropriate policies and regulations,
- Maintain your training binder.
- Use of Forklift/ High-low/ pallet jack for warehouse activities
- Support internal audits.
Job Requirements:
- An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute.
- High school diploma
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Understanding of plasma, cryopreservation, purification, and aseptic preferred.
- Forklift/High low license preferred
- 1+ years relevant work experience required, preferably in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing and Logistics environment.
- 1+ years’ experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain areas.
Note: This position may require the labeling, packaging, or movement of hazardous (flammable, corrosive, toxic, etc.) waste within the facility. If so, this employee would be trained. In lieu of HAZWOPER training, the employee will receive training on the requirements of the New York State hazardous waste management regulations pursuant to 6 NYCRR §373-3.2. All employees that have received the above-mentioned training within the first six months of hire will receive annual refresher training that covers the OSHA HAZWOPER standard and the personnel training requirements of the NYSDEC.
