Position Overview

The Vice President, Vendor Management will select different services, negotiate contracts, and evaluate performance on behalf of ATLAS SP.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
  • Implement vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured.
  • Manage relationships with different vendors, keep accurate documentation, resolve problems and issues, and streamline processes.
  • Establish standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.
  • Evaluate current vendor management programs and identify ways to improve them.
  • Meet with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
  • Conduct interviews with new vendors and inform approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations.
  • Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with ATLAS vendors.

Qualification and Experience

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • The ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • 5 plus years' experience working as a vendor or procurement manager at an equivalent banking/capital markets firm
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Base Salary Range

$150,000 - $200,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
