An-Cor Industrial Plastics specializes in the design, engineering, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of custom Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) industrial equipment.

Summary

Responsible for shipping and receiving of material throughout the company. Tracks delivery of incoming material, schedules outgoing shipments with various carriers

Description: * Prepare on-line/electronic and manual Bill of Ladings, Packing Lists, and Receiving Forms * Prepare export and import documents for shipments * Inspect and document all items received * Working leader for crating and packaging * Help with hydrotesting and vacuum testing * Operate fork truck * Handle pricing and arrangements for all shipping: 1)LTL, dedicated load, 2)Flatbeds, vans, extended trailers, 3)Oversized loads, Super loads, escorts, permits 4)Couriers, UPS, Fed Exp * Tie in with engineering for shipping dimensions and product orientation for large loads * Watch production to time shipping activities so that products do not sit idle after completion * Purchase stocked inventory items and do inventory tracking * Shipping paperwork for hazardous materials * Attend hazardous materials training classes and maintain certification * Handle our hazardous waste program * Review material certs for accuracy against shipments, deal with discrepancies and update files * Ability to work flexible hours and over time as needed * Other duties performed as necessary - This is a hands on job

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Min 4 years experience -Shipping & Receiving within the manufacturing industry * Be able to read shop drawings * Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook

Physical Environment: * Involves being outside in all weather conditions * Exposed to loud noise * Exposed to fumes & dust * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
