Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lending Documentation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the various business units for the Non-Standard Documentation/Standard Documentation process in accordance with the Credit Documentation Process. The candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance documentation role in the relevant regional market, and possess strong analytical skills, risk-based approach, and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of Lending Documentation Unit (LDU) processes with other processes of the Bank
- Ensuring that Legal and LDU work together in an integrated fashion
- Identifying process improvement initiatives/opportunities to drive efficiency across LDU
- Conducting reviews for Early Alert cases
- Providing effective orientation/guidance to new joiners on the Bank's policies/procedures/processes
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, external policies, regulatory and statutory requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Detailed knowledge of the Bank's relevant policies and procedures
- Experience with externally produced loan and security documentation
- Knowledge of the Bank's products in relation to documentation
- Ability to quickly assimilate complex deals and product structures
- Knowledge of minimum acceptance criteria and collateral verification requirements
- Paralegal/legal skills
- Bank training, i.e. mandatory & developmental - role-specific, and regulatory/compliance bank-wide & role-specific
Qualifications:
- Academic or professional education/qualifications, i.e., standards required for roles
- Paralegal/Legal Skills
- Tax Evasion Risk Awareness

Expected annual base pay range for the role is $ 91, 584 - $148, 824 .The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
