Areas of Impact:
PhotoShelter is looking for a highly motivated Billing Specialist to assist us with a customer base of photographers and teams around the world.
You'll impact PhotoShelter by solving our customers' basic and complex billing challenges. Areas of responsibility include:
  • Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual month-end duties, audits and clean-up
  • Overseeing the execution of accurate and timely billing
  • Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for billing processes; participate and review testing of system enhancements/modifications to existing functionality and processes
  • Preparing and reviewing various billing analysis and reconciliations; identify potential issues, recommend, and implement process improvements
  • Managing and delegating billing related tickets in Zendesk
  • Resolving failed payments, chargebacks, credit card disputes and account lockouts
  • Developing and maintaining current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all billing-related responsibilities
  • Working seamlessly with various teams across the organization including AP, AR, Technical Support, and Customer Success.
  • Updating and maintaining customer contract and billing information
  • Maintain working knowledge of the company’s current products and services
  • Work directly with customers on any subscription changes
  • Responding to all customer related billing questions and resolving disputes
Requirements
To achieve success we feel you will need:
  • A pleasant and professional phone voice and demeanor
  • Excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of two (2) years of billing experience required. Preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
  • To have strong customer service instincts and telephone skills
  • To listen, exhibit patience, and eloquently communicate difficult answers
  • To be highly organized and detail oriented, with ability to juggle multiple challenges at once
  • To work in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience preferred
Nice, but not required:
  • A history or experience with PhotoShelter? Awesome!
  • Experience with and a passion for Photography
  • Familiarity with Zendesk, Salesforce and Zuora

**Candidates must either work on the East Coast of the US or be willing to work East Coast hours.**
