Securities Operations Consultant Jobs

*6-9 month contract role at a foreign bank located in NYC*

Position Summary:

Responsible for aspects of post trade securities processing including settlement,

reconciliation, asset servicing and regulatory reporting on multiple product and systems. The

Operations Specialist is accountable for performing the essential duties of the job to help

achieve firm objectives relevant to Securities Markets Operations workflows

and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all appropriate legal and regulatory requirements are met and foster a “Compliance and due process culture”
• Review and resolve settlement discrepancies with client and/or brokers
• Provide operational/functional securities support for Sales and Trading businesses across all Legal entities
• Respond to audit and regulatory inquiries and exams in a timely manner
• Prepare and submit relevant reporting, MIS, administrative, regulatory, etc.
• Contribute to the writing and revising of procedures, including new workflows and processes
• Participation in projects, internal and industry wide initiatives
• Ensure the timely processing of all post settlement activity

Experience /Qualifications/Education:

• Servicing, and trade support, across all fixed income and equity products.
• Knowledge of Vendor applications; Broadridge, and Depository functions (such
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Operations experience in broker dealer or investment
• Banking.
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
