📍 Orlando (Hybrid from Jan 2024)

💲 $70 - 90k base

I am partnered with a scaling EdTech company in the online assessment space who are looking to expand its US HQ as their product is profitable and growing across the US, continuing the large move to online assessments seen over the past 3 years.

As part of this expansion, they're looking to bring a technical documentation specialist on board as their product and customer base continue to expand.

Responsibilities:

• Create and update documentation using automated documentation tools and processes.
• Edit and proofread documentation for clarity and correctness.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical documentation.
• Collaborate with other documentation professionals to maintain consistency of documentation across all products and services.
• Create and update technical documentation for a wide range of products and services, such as user guides, installation manuals, and reference manuals.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather requirements and guarantee accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Requirements:

• Excellent writing and editing abilities.
• Knowledge of automated documentation systems (Chameleon, Product Fruits, Userpilot, etc.) and methods used in software firms would be advantageous.
• The ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
• Prior experience working in technical documentation.
• The ability to operate both alone and collaboratively.
