Job Description
Modern Intelligence specializes in the development of perception-based AI products for all sensors and environments. We are in the process of closing a strong Series A funding round, marking the beginning of an exciting growth phase. As we prepare for this rapid expansion, we are seeking an experienced Lead Recruiter to spearhead our talent acquisition efforts and support our ambitious hiring plans.

In this crucial role, you will be our first in-house recruiter, responsible for attracting and hiring top-tier talent for our engineering and business development teams, as well as building and leading a dedicated recruitment team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with our business objectives and growth plan.
  • Promote awareness of Modern's product, defense, and research initiatives both online and offline.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing recruitment team.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop job descriptions.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment process for software, machine learning engineering, and business development roles.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have past experience recruiting for AI companies, and recruiting in the defense space.
  • Proven experience as a lead recruiter, with a focus on technical recruitment, and ideally experience in business development recruitment as well.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and employment legislation.
  • A broad existing network of engineers and other talented recruiters.
  • Excellent understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
