Associate Recruiter

GreatAuPair is a full-service au pair agency designated by the Department of State, which provides affordable live-in childcare to American families through carefully screened international au pairs since 2001. We are hiring a recruiter to find passionate people who want to serve in their community as a local resource for the cultural exchange program.
The Recruiter position is responsible for recruiting, performing background and reference checks, aptitude, and personality testing, and the hiring of applicants for the Local Childcare Coordinator position throughout the US. This right candidate must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of the coordinator position, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
This is a part-time, independent contractor position.
Requirements
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, new hire packets, records, and statistical reports
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidates’ qualifications
• Request and conduct reference checks for candidates
• Extend offers to qualified candidates
• Track recruiting activities and provide candidate status reports
• Meet or exceed hiring KPIs
• Participate in community outreach
• Schedule and coordinate new hire training
• Work collaboratively with regional managers on recruiting initiatives
• Request and evaluate various background screening reports
• Coordinate all logistics and scheduling required for the interview process
• Post and update job descriptions on approved external platforms, social media, and other venues

• Possess strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent engaging interpersonal skills required
• Experience with strategic recruiting and planning for future hiring needs
• Proven candidate sourcing and relationship-building skills
• Sound judgment and decision-making ability
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous interviewing experience (2 years), especially in an entry-level higher volume recruiting environment
• Ability to be creative and resourceful
• Experience with training, employee retention, and new employee onboarding preferred
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, database, internet, and social media applications
