Advance your career as a Key Account Executive – Restaurant calling on national and regional chain restaurant accounts. We are looking for top talent in the Texas or California areas with possibility of other remote locations in the Midwest near a major airport. Here at Kellogg, we care about and celebrate your success. In this exciting role, you will use your selling skills to partner with key decision makers at some of the top 300 Technomic ranked restaurant chain accounts within a designated geography to drive business results. An integral part of the Kellogg Away From Home Channel Sales team, you will create sales plans and ensure the execution of all activities related to the accounts. You will develop customer’s relationship plans to penetrate all levels and functions of the customer organization to position the company for future growth. While you are at it, you will also be building your network and expertise in a thriving environment of professional development and teamwork.
- Strategic Partnerships – You will collaborate with customer key decision makers as well as internal cross-functional partners (Operator and Distributor Region sales teams, Commercial National Accounts Managers, & Commercial Strategy Manager) to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver sales results.
- Budget Management – You will be responsible for managing trade dollars within your assigned budgets and executing customer specific trade plans. Submitting accurate data will be necessary to accurately build customer Profit and Loss (P&Ls) and analysis.
- Account Development – As a Key Account Executive - Restaurants you will lead sales execution efforts and manage business needs and relationships with customer personnel. Promoting a customer-centered culture, you will strive to exceed customer needs, requirements and expectations.
- Analytics – Knowing your business will be imperative in driving sales growth. Understanding and effectively leveraging customer, industry, and internal sales information, you will drive compliance and sustain a competitive edge.
- A flexible work schedule and the ability to overnight travel around 30%-50% of the time but may vary depending on location of residency.
- Significant related experience with a strong preference working with commercial restaurant accounts
- Ability to understand market dynamics, forecast results, and analyze and interpret data
- Strong understanding of trade strategy and negotiation skills
- Motor vehicle history with 2 or less moving violations within the last 36 months
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
- Ability to develop, present, and execute customer plans with a focus on customer communication and account penetration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- This position provides participation in the Kellogg Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.
