The Avesis business intelligence and analytics team is seeking a junior reporting analyst to help fulfill our mission of providing the right data to the right stakeholders at the right time. Our ideal candidate will embody our core values of respect, quality and generate ad hoc and recurring reports for our internal and external clients by taking requirements and turning them into high quality reports. We are evolving our data offerings and are interested in sharing our journey with a new associate who is open to change and eager to learn.Essential Job Functions:

• Extract, filter and aggregate data with tools such as SSMS and PowerBI
• Check quality of work and document work
• Evaluate reporting requirements and seek clarification when needed
• Work closely with stakeholders and effectively communicate progress and roadblocks on tasks
• Communicate findings with team and internal stakeholders
• Work independently and within a small group
• Follow established reporting processes
• Develop reports in timely fashion in accordance with business requirements

Requirements:

• Power BI experience preferred
• SQL experience highly desired.
• Willing to multi-task and work on reports at different stages in development cycle
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Analytics or similar required.
• Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• One year of experience in business analytics or reporting analytics required
• Ability to communicate with a diverse employee population in different time zones around the country.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment.
