Your Role

The Manager of Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) will be responsible for enterprise analytics and business intelligence for Oasis. You will partner with internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful analysis of external and internal data that support our team in performing their jobs more effectively and align with Oasis’ growth direction. The internal and external consumers of your analyses will be non-technical, so an important aspect of this role is the ability to synthesize complex concepts into simple insights and narrate a story with data and insights. You are accountable to drive day-to-day analysis across market operations, product, clinical performance, finance and growth.

As the Manager of Analytics and BI you will:

• Establish an intuitive analytics and reporting suite to ensure all team members can identify opportunities, recognize patterns, and drive performance
• Create Oasis, health plan, provider, patient and investor reporting.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify and quantify strategic growth opportunities and operational improvements
• Empower Oasis employees by creating/deploying self-serve tools that enable decision-making and visualize operational performance
• Partner with Oasis teams to understand needs – then build the dashboards, tools, presentations and models that improve decision making and performance visibility
• Own the development of the Oasis metrics scorecard that encompasses data from across operations, clinical performance, healthcare utilization, growth and finance

About You

• High School Diploma and minimum of 2+ years of experience working in the data analytics/business intelligence domain
• Some experience working with financial data and analyses preferred
• Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly working with various types of data sources (claims, EHR data) is a plus
• Excel and SQL expert, building models to support analytics; ability to self-serve data with SQL queries is a plus
• Comfort taking initiative to find the largest opportunities, balancing competing priorities, and navigating a fast-paced startup environment
• Excellent communication, requirement gathering and prioritization skills
• Ability to visualize data in different formats (Excel, Powerpoint, BI tools like QuickSight, Tableau, Mode)
• Expertise in defining and building meaningful metrics and KPIs
• Strong business acumen, you can consider higher-level business context while approaching analytics problems with technical precision and data-mindedness
• Ability to narrate a story with your data and insights that you generate
• Startup or mid-stage health technology experience preferred
• Some programming experience preferred
• 2+ years of experience building data models, reports and dashboards in BI tools
