Director Of Business Intelligence And Analytics

We are seeking Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics. This role ensures the efficiency, availability, and practicality of all data resources for the health system. This role will spearhead the establishment of data governance, manage data quality protocols, and uphold standards across the organization. Additionally, this role is responsible for owning the internal data repository, overseeing analytics, data architecture, and data science initiatives. This role is dedicated to developing and executing data policies and workflows, fostering strong data practices aligned with compliance and regulatory requirements.

Shift and Schedule:

• Full-Time Position
• Remote
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a program for data science, propelling the initiation of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning endeavors.
• Craft a roadmap for all data-related initiatives, encompassing data management, architecture, quality, business intelligence, and data science.
• Collaborate with business data owners to assess and manage risks arising from data quality issues that could impact business operations and compliance.
• Work with the Data Governance Office and partners to formulate a comprehensive data strategy.
• Drive initiatives to educate executives, employees, and stakeholders about the strategic significance of data.
• Establish and oversee a comprehensive data governance program.
• Develop, grow, and maintain, the data warehouse.
• Direct the development and execution of the data strategy, including policy and communication.
• Supervise Integration and report writing teams to ensure compliance with standards and customer needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to foster the adoption of data policies and strategies.
• Enforce core data governance and management standards.
• Operationalize data stewardship, ensuring its integration into day-to-day operations.
• Ensure alignment of strategic business solutions with data policies and management strategies.
• Educate the organization on data workflows, data sources, vendor capabilities, data definitions, access rules, and related matters.
• Provide executive-level reports on key metrics of the data management program.
• Motivate and manage sizable technical teams, driving collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Over 7 years of experience in IT, Business Intelligence, and Data Management, with 5 years or more in leadership roles preferred.
• Experience working with hospital/ healthcare data
• Capacity to convert business goals into a coherent data management vision.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required.
• Demonstrated success in data strategy development and execution, along with program leadership.
• Familiarity with data technology frameworks and environments, coupled with industry-standard data management and governance frameworks.
• Proven expertise in team development, hiring, mentoring, and scaling.
• Effective communication skills for conveying complex data issues to diverse audiences.
