Junior Business Analyst Jobs

Our client is looking for an intellectually curious, dedicated, and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 2 years Business Analysis experience who is also familiar with project management disciplines to join their growing team. The candidate should be comfortable with the idea of working across diverse projects with diverse personalities. This position is fully remote and provides support for our NYC Government projects. Experience with NYC agencies and technology projects is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Stakeholder follow-ups
• Maintain project logs
• Internal team coordination
• Track action items and team assignments
• Complete understanding of all project attributes and workstream
• Experience writing formal BA deliverables, such as business requirement documents, data dictionaries and technical requirement
• Document intelligent meeting notes
• Prepare and deliver training as required

Qualifications

• A proactive ‘can do’ approach
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (MS Office).
• Experience with Salesforce a plus
• Enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn
• Strong organizational skills, with good attention to detail
• Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
• 2 plus years of business analysis experience
• Knowledge of NYC Agencies preferred
• Bachelors’ degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and hit deadlines
• Experience with large-scale software implementations or custom software applications a plus
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
