Robert Half is currently assisting a client in Manhattan Beach, CA, that is in a search of an IT Project Coordinator for a 5-month contract that could potentially extend. IT Project Coordinator will be on a team responsible for improving processes and systems, supporting process improvement and desire to implement best practices along with documenting processes and implementations. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (such as Microsoft Office, MS Teams, SmartSheet, Visio/LucidChart, MS Project, ServiceNow etc) and strong communication (including business writing), organization and analytical skills.

• Hours/Duration: 40 hours/week | 5 month contract (ending in december)
• Remote/Onsite: Hybrid 2 remote/3 days onsite

Requirements

• Working knowledge of project management techniques (Agile, Waterfall OR hybrid)
• Previous real-world experience implementing IT infrastructure and operations systems and teams.
• Excellent documentation skills using Microsoft Office, MS Teams, SmartSheet, Visio/LucidChart, MS Project, ServiceNow etc.
• At least 1-2 years of combined experience working with IT Enterprise Infrastructure and/or Operations teams
• Demonstrated track record of process improvement and desire to implement best practices
• Previous project management experience in Infrastructure and/or Operations implementation projects
• Take personal responsibility to improve processes and systems

Nice To Have

• Past project experience with Windows Server, Linux variants, networking deployments, database management, and cloud-based infrastructures a big plus.
• Experience in the retail industry, helpful, but not required
• Certifications in project management, lean/agile methodologies and change management, a plus, not required
