It Help Desk Technician Level 1/2

What you will do:

• Represent the Surefox IT team to all Surefox employees in a professional manner and uphold Surefox’s high standards of professionalism, transparency, and candor

• Become familiar with how Surefox’s digital systems are arrayed, how we communicate, how we manage communications and technical equipment, and all policies governing the use of communications and technical equipment

• Assist Surefox employees with troubleshooting and employing solutions to all technical challenges spanning computer systems, hardware, and software

• Assist other Help Desk Technicians with their efforts as needed

• Share best practices when applicable across the entire IT team

• Be available to conduct short training sessions on basic systems functionality for new employees as needed

• Be prepared to perform some work virtually and support a virtually connected team

What is required:

• Must be eligible for employment within the United States

• Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening

• Must have at least 1 year of experience serving in Helpdesk roles or equivalent

• Must be able to follow through with the established tracking practices from the time a request comes into the time it is completed

• Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and help establish IT priorities of work

• Be a self-starter, intellectually curious about your craft and field of expertise, and consistently look for ways to improve yourself and the team around you

• Possess excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

• Must be able to write clear, concise, professional email communications and basic reports

• Must have CompTIA A+ certification or higher

• Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Platforms

• Must have the ability to speak, read and write English

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

• Weekends as needed
• 8 hour shift
