Avetta, LLC is actively seeking a highly skilled IT Support Technician (Help Desk) to provide exceptional technology support to our global workforce. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for addressing hardware and software needs, procuring equipment, managing audits, setting up email accounts, and troubleshooting workstation, application, and printer issues.
Employee/End-User Support:
- Create new user accounts/profiles and address password-related problems.
- Efficiently establish user accounts and permissions on the organization's servers and applications, ensuring appropriate access levels.
- Cultivate positive working relationships with employees and executives.
- Effectively prioritize and manage tickets and workload.
- Provide support both in person and remotely, ensuring efficient problem resolution.
- Respond to and close tickets within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframe.
- Assist users in resolving hardware and software queries, concerns, and issues.
- Respond promptly and professionally to trouble calls/tickets, maintaining a courteous approach.
- Make recommendations for purchasing items to fulfill end users' requirements.
Hardware and Application Support:
- Install, configure, administer, maintain, monitor, diagnose, and repair end-user systems (Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OSX) and software applications within the corporate environment.
- Process hardware return merchandise authorizations (RMA) and/or warranty replacements.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and other computing assets.
- Install, configure, administer, maintain, diagnose, and repair printers, including multi-function printers, copiers, and mobile devices within the corporate environment.
- Conduct testing and evaluation of new technologies to ensure compatibility and effectiveness.
Audit Support:
- Ensure all tasks are conducted in compliance with Avetta's audit standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular self-checks on completed work to ensure security and audit compliance.
- Gather data/evidence to support the yearly audit cycle.
Success Metrics:
- Successfully complete the yearly audit with zero compliance exceptions related to the work performed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of preferred IT technical support experience.
- Ability to work daily (Monday - Friday) in Avetta's Tustin Office located at 1730 Flight Way, Tustin, CA 92782.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study desired, or equivalent work experience.
