It Asset & Expense Consultant (Remote)

Primary Purpose:

The position will be responsible for various tasks and activities associated with the execution of the Asset Management Lifecycle (Request thru Dispose / Reallocate) and will also assist in various tasks needed to maintain a quality Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the review and revision of Policy and SOP documentation annually.
• Assist with the Integration of assets from acquired companies.
• Address service ticket request as assigned by ITAM Asset Leadership
• Develop subject matter expert knowledge in the Enterprise ITSM/ITAM toolset.
• Provide audit defense support for both server and desktop software products.
• Leverage our Change Management System and other tools to capture service map changes for updates to the Change Management Database (CMDB).
• Assist with building Effective License Positions for Microsoft and other large software providers.
• Leverage our ITAM toolset to discover enterprise hardware and software inventory.
• Work with our recyclers to process decommissions and destruction requests.
• Participate in maintaining our Software Catalog, including the monitoring and management of EOS/EOL software.
• Construct and develop Dashboard metrics as requested by leadership.

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• At least 2 years of experience in an IT Technical role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a strong technical aptitude to develop this as an above-average skill.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization.
• Initiative-taking achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service
• Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly.
• Must perform well in a high-energy, dynamic, and collaborative environments.

Desired Skills:

• Experience using one or more business intelligence tools like Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, etc.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related discipline.
• ITIL V4 Foundation Certification
• Ivanti Neurons ITSM/ITAM toolset experience
• ITSM experience

The base range offered for the role is: $52,500 - $60,00 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors.
