MajorDuties
As a IT Specialist you will: Participate in development of database standards, policy, procedures, and guidance; and ensures integration of security policies, principles and practices in the delivery of data management services. Modify commercial database management systems and/or develops new programs to maintain files, perform data validation routines, etc. Evaluate vendor-developed software available over the counter for defined system and subject matter applications. Evaluate software already in use to evaluate the merits relative to meeting the organization's needs. Develop applications programs for a variety of software applications in support of the assigned organization.
