Duties:
-Support district 1:1 initiative including laptops, Chromebooks and iPads, troubleshooting and repairing as necessary.
-Maintain currency of technological skills and knowledge base.
-Participate in department, building and district level technology committee meetings.
-Support district assessments including AP, ACT, ACT Aspire and Forward Exam.
-Associates degree in IT Computer Support Specialist or equivalent technical institution certificate.
Qualifications:
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required for travel between district school buildings.
Ability to lift or move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SCCM server, including building, deploying, and maintaining images and software packages.
1-3 years of computer support work experience providing end-user technical assistance.
Ability to upgrade or resolve issues with Chromebooks, PCs and/or iPads.
Familiarity with Microsoft AD, Windows 10/11, ChromeOS, Google Workspace Admin, interactive displays and other classroom technology desired.
Demonstration of ability to adapt to daily activities in an emerging environment.
Demonstration of effective and efficient troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Excellent organizational/prioritization skills with a strong degree of self-direction and motivation, able to work under pressure, completing tasks in a reasonable amount of time.
Customer service oriented with the ability to work both independently and in collaborative groups.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people and skill sets.
Displays professional integrity, a strong work ethic and confidentiality.
Possess a passion for technology and helping others.
