Job Description
AMTRACO is looking for a Human Resource- Employee Engagement Specialist to join our team of fast growing companies including a manufacturing division, distribution companies and commercial real estate. The Employee Engagement Specialist is responsible for various functions of the Human Resource department, including talent, compensation, benefits, leave, reporting, and administration of company policies.


The ideal person for this position has proven expertise in Human Resources. This includes benefits administration, talent acquisition, compensation, reporting, benefits and training. To be a competent HR Generalist, you should be have excellent listening skills, be able to multitask effectively and manage stress in a quick paced workplace.


Responsibilities:


  • Facilitating of team meetings
  • Performance Management: 90-Day Reviews, Annual Reviews, Quarterly Conversations, Monthly Conversations
  • Onboarding & Orientation Management of Transition Program: job change, relocation & promotions
  • Pulse Surveys/Core Value Survey
  • Manage Comprehensive Wellness Program
  • Recruitment – Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for all open positions. Work closely with hiring managers to understand the needs of their department and any required job openings. Schedule and coordinate pre-employment drug tests and background verification. Create new-hire onboarding programs and deliver compelling new-hire orientations.
  • Team Member Engagement through special programs management including, Paid Service Days & Company Events and Activities and Company Contests.
  • Coordinate & Follow-up: Interviews, Working Interviews/Trial Day Program
  • Company Marketing including Social Media Management
  • Global Learning & Development Program Support (Training)


Requirements:


  • Familiarity with HRIS and talent management systems
  • Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required
  • Strong ability to multitask and remain calm in emergencies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Superb conflict resolution skills
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations and ability to research same.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources
