Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Specialist with a background in Asian companies or Asian culture to join our dynamic team.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and business goals, incorporating Asian cultural perspectives as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are inclusive of Asian cultural considerations.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding process by understanding the unique challenges and requirements associated with hiring talent from Asian companies or candidates with Asian cultural experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to HR in Asian companies, and apply that knowledge to drive continuous improvement in HR processes and programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and career development opportunities, ensuring cultural sensitivity and understanding.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for all HR-related matters, with a focus on leveraging your expertise in Asian company practices and cultural nuances.
  • Support employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives, considering the diverse cultural backgrounds of our workforce.
  • Handle confidential employee information with the utmost professionalism and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance cultural awareness and sensitivity among employees and managers, fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations, with a track record of effectively managing HR processes in a multicultural environment.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, Asian company practices or Asian culture background is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, with a demonstrated ability to apply that knowledge in an Asian company context.
  • Strong understanding of cultural nuances, communication styles, and work dynamics prevalent in Asian companies or Asian cultural settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a multinational organization or with a global HR team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, International Business, or a related field.
