Responsibilities


Provide human resources support under general direction, working independently or within a team on assigned tasks:


  • Record, maintain, and report information pertaining to employee files, hiring, and terminations using the company's Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Maintain status of employees' professional licenses, training records and vaccination status (COVID, flu, etc.) digitally and in HRIS.
  • Process and file sensitive and confidential correspondence primarily in the company HRIS.
  • Organize onboarding packages for new employees, including temporary business cards, employee identification badge, office equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain personnel records, administrative records and files in the company HRIS.
  • Assist with employee morale building activities (e.g., birthday notices, special recognitions, company events, etc.)
  • Support and/or perform new employee orientation in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with HR regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., EEOC, DOL, VETS, etc.).
  • Serve as a backup on front desk coverage to provide continuous coverage of the telephones and office reception desk during normal operating hours.
  • Perform assigned tasks in the hiring process to ensure timely completion of all pre-hire processes through verbal and written communication for telephone screens, assessments, reference checks, background checks, etc.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Must possess professional business appearance, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Associate's degree in Business, Human Resources or related disciplines.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel are required.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (HRIS) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are required.
  • At least 3 years of experience performing human resources administrative functions with increasing responsibilities in corporate environments.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with minimum supervision.
