Job Description
Currently recruiting a Human Resources Assistant (Remote/WFH) near Gaithersburg, Maryland , to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting Human Resources Director and other HR Department staff. Duties include collecting and organizing employee data, preparing reports, HRIS entry and providing clerical assistance. The position also has an active role in ensuring all human resource functions are complying with local, state, and federal regulations. Must have excellent organizational and time-management skills. Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant include: Retain employees by providing outstanding support to operations and corporate employees. Orient new employees by providing orientation support. Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Accesses and responds to emails in HRAF, HR, Operator and Resignation email accounts. Handles Employee Recognition Process. Organizes HR calendar and project chart. Gathers data and supports HR with annual AAP. Creates, proofreads, and types documents, correspondence and presentations produced by department. Processes and generates required paperwork for new hires, terminations, offer letters and other related employment matters. Files and maintains electronic records. Reconciles invoices. Responds to various state unemployment insurance benefits requests for information. Supports corporate office with mail, shipments, and other needs. Handles sensitive information confidentially. Perform desktop publishing, creating documents such as presentation and reports upon request. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications of the Human Resources Assistant: 1 year of experience in a staffing or HR environment preferred Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (e.G.
