Responsibilities

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Communications, Psychology, or a related field is required.
A strong academic background in human resources management, management principles, or accounting/statistics is highly preferred.
While no prior experience is required, familiarity with absence management is advantageous. Experience in employee and/or labor relations, as well as working with collective bargaining agreements, is also highly valued.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exhibit professionalism in all interactions.
Special Requirements
Following a six-month training period (on-site), this position offers a hybrid work arrangement. Enjoy the flexibility of working both in-person and remotely, allowing you to create a balanced and productive work-life blend.
Strict adherence to ALLETE's alternative work arrangements policy is essential for maintaining the hybrid work arrangement.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Duluth, MN.
Demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality with sensitive information.
