Position Overview:
The HR Administrator role provides general support to the Human Resources Department by handling administrative and operational tasks and assisting Department Leadership in strategic planning and projects. This position plays a key role in assisting in the development and implementation of human resource policies and maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Essential Functions:
- Handles pre-employment and employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, supervisors, department heads, and public and private agencies.
- Performs HRIS data entry; processes and maintains personnel records and reports.
- Collects and interprets data; creates HR reports and analyzes results using statistical techniques.
- Responds to verification of employment requests.
- Manages annual labor law poster order and shipment to all YES locations.
- Assist with new hire HR onboarding and manager communication.
- Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
- Assists the HR Department with a variety of projects, company programs, and auditing.
- Conducts pre-employment background checks and facilitates physical assessment tests for specific positions.
- Manages department invoices and maintains effective communication with other departments & vendors.
- Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer human resource tasks and programs including but not limited to company apparel, philanthropic, and educational programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- A willingness to constantly learn and grow as a team member and a person.
- Ability to research and apply knowledge creatively to develop solutions to information requests.
- Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
- Previous experience working in Ceridian-Dayforce a plus.
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
- Must be self-motivated, independent, able to prioritize and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Caring, positive attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
