About Conduent:
- Auditing all incoming I9 forms and documentation, managing follow-up actions required to ensure each I9 is in compliance.
- Participating in annual internal I9 audit on active and inactive I9s for completeness and accuracy following federal requirements.
- Preparing I9 exception reporting and notifying leadership of noncompliant I9s following escalation procedures.
- Performing additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.
- Participating in I9 compliance Learning Services training and testing for Company I9 Verifier Program.
- Modeling compliance with CONDUENT practices and procedures and supporting the company's mission, values, and focus.
- Responding to inquiries regarding the validity of I9 supporting documentation and procedural questions.
- Providing support oversight for compliance with CONDUENT employment process, including confirming that all required I9 verifications are conducted in accordance with CONDUENT practices and applicable law.
- Investigating and ensuring proper notifications are delivered in a timely manner for all discrepancies with E-Verify results, following the escalation process to ensure compliance.
- Providing support oversight for compliance with applicable state and federal statutory requirements.
- Exhibit proven attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal direction and manage a wide variety of confidential information on a regular basis.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Possess a minimum of one to three years of job experience, preferably in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or Legal Immigration.
- Familiarity with E-Verify, ATS, and HR Systems preferred, but not required.
- Showcase strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills, along with a quick learning ability.
- Have a college degree preferred, but not required.
- Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of workflow while multitasking effectively.
- Ability to understand and operate in an environment with regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Show a demonstrated focus on ethics and integrity.
- Working remotely from home office
