As a member of our team, you'll bring your valuable experience in hospice, palliative, and end-of-life care, gained from various healthcare settings like the emergency department, critical care, surgical services, and more. You'll work a minimum of four shifts per pay period for part-time status, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance within a two-week pay period.
We understand the importance of maintaining a fulfilling personal life, which is why we offer preferred scheduling for your weekday requirements with set shift times. Additionally, you'll work every other weekend, providing vital support and care to our patients on both Saturday and Sunday.
We prioritize your professional growth and success, which is why we provide three weeks of comprehensive remote paid training. The training schedule is designed to accommodate your availability, ensuring a seamless transition into your role.
In addition to your regular shifts, you have the opportunity to pick up additional shifts based on availability, expanding your scope of support for our valued clients. To facilitate your work, we will equip you with a laptop and headset. While you'll need to utilize your own high-speed internet, we ensure a secure and private environment that is compliant with privacy/HIPAA regulations.
Using our advanced electronic medical records (EMRs) system and internal applications, you'll efficiently document patient interactions and perform essential job functions. Strong technological skills, the ability to follow instructions, and confidence in utilizing technology are vital for success in this role.
To ensure you have ample time to prepare for your shifts, a minimum of 30 minutes of paid shift prep is required before taking calls. At the end of your shift, you'll spend 30 minutes to 2 hours completing remaining charting duties before clocking out.
