Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our dynamic team as a Re/Development Coordinator. Reporting directly to the regional VP of Re/Development, you will play a crucial role in supporting our professionals in various regional offices. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of development, construction, and administrative tasks, all aimed at contributing to the success of our projects and operations.
Responsibilities
As the Re/Development Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for:
Due Diligence Support
Conducting comprehensive research on city regulations, zoning ordinances, and building codes.
Generating detailed reports that outline findings from your research.
Financial Oversight
Tracking and meticulously reporting actual expenditures versus budgeted allocations across multiple projects.
Assisting with financial tasks related to project management.
Contract Management
Collaborating with various professionals to prepare contracts, including those related to architecture, civil engineering, land use, traffic, and legal matters.
Reviewing leases and abstracting essential delivery dates and notice periods.
Project Documentation
Compiling Request for Proposals (RFPs), bid packages, and summaries of submissions.
Managing project-related documents such as invoices, pay applications, affidavits, lien waivers, and insurance certificates.
Maintaining a well-organized project library.
Reporting And Communication
Updating project summaries, meeting minutes, and other reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Assisting with general administrative duties, including travel coordination.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
Three to five years of experience in commercial real estate, retail real estate, or a related department.
Familiarity with lease agreements and accounting principles.
Exceptional communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
A collaborative mindset, displaying excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Project, as well as adeptness in online research.
Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
Knowledge of construction management systems like e-Builder is advantageous.
Ability to create, manipulate, and maintain databases effectively.
Strong attention to detail, enabling you to manage multiple projects seamlessly.
Skill in maintaining organized storage files and tracking information accurately.
Impeccable grammatical skills and the capability to produce error-free documentation.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
A proven ability to collaborate with individuals across all organizational levels.
