Research Project Coordinator - Administrative and Operations Support
You will play a pivotal role in managing a suite of new scholarly and research endeavors conducted by our esteemed faculty members. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the administrative and operations point person for all of the projects, fostering seamless coordination and facilitating the projects' success.
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinate Projects: Working closely with the principal investigator and project managers, you will ensure efficient project coordination, including personnel, purchasing, travel, IRB, and other administrative matters.
Streamline Efforts: Help streamline activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, timely report submissions, auditing, and efficient recruitment of project personnel.
Manage Funds: Track and manage the faculty member's portfolio of funds, develop budgets, and monitor expenditures to ensure smooth financial operations.
Support Operations: Provide valuable assistance in various operational tasks, including scheduling meetings, reserving spaces, and maintaining organized records of key documents.
Stay Informed: Keep abreast of relevant policies and guidelines and share updates with the team to ensure compliance and alignment with best practices.
Assist with Grant Management: Collaborate with the faculty member and RAS team member to submit and manage grants and disseminate research findings.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a science field or business management and three years of related management experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Preferred Qualifications
Five or more years of experience providing administrative and operations support.
Experience Supervising Others.
Familiarity with the administrative systems (e.g., scheduling, payroll, travel, purchasing, etc.) used at Emory/Rollins.
