Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team, where you'll play a pivotal role in providing critical technical and financial insights to optimize our business operations through data analytics, reporting, and analysis. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for various business units, helping them make informed decisions and drive positive change.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Data Analysis: Utilize your expertise to perform advanced analysis with large datasets and complex business requirements, aiming to influence key performance indicators (KPIs) and achieve business objectives.
SQL Proficiency: Conduct SQL querying across multiple platforms and script to extract relevant data while optimizing queries and adhering to best practices.
Data Validation: Execute validation checks, identifying and resolving data element inconsistencies to ensure data accuracy.
Collaborative Solutions: Collaborate closely with leadership to design and implement solutions, while also comparing your findings against standard business trends to identify any outliers.
Reporting and Presentation: Create informative reports, visually appealing graphs, concise summaries, and engaging presentations that effectively communicate analytic results in a compelling and easy-to-understand manner.
Contextual Analysis: Maintain a keen focus on context and flow, ensuring that your analysis provides insights that align with visuals and contribute to our strategic business decisions.
Clear Communication: Demonstrate the ability to articulate key points, highlight deeper insights, and relate them to business performance through well-crafted written communication within your analysis.
Iterative Development: Review and refine your analysis through iterative development, striving for continuous improvement.
Project Planning: Understand the importance of project planning and be capable of independently creating project plans.

Reporting Governance: Develop an understanding of operational systems and collaborate with IT and Business teams to establish reporting governance using our Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
