Job Description


Ford Pro is a new global business within Ford committed to commercial customer productivity. Ford Pro delivers a work-ready suite of vehicles, products, and services for virtually every vocation, backed by technology, and engineered for uptime. A true one-stop shop, offering a full portfolio of electrified and internal combustion vehicles designed to integrate seamlessly with the Ford Pro ecosystem, helping customers' businesses thrive today and into the new era of electrification.


This candidate will be a key, visible member of Ford Pro Leadership team who will work across all vertical areas of the Ford Pro business to develop integrated plans that will span multiple skill teams across the organization.


Key responsibilities include:


Marketing, Product and Sales Enablement and Support


  • Lead the development of go-to-market tools and resources to support the selling cycle and drive sales efforts
  • Oversee integrated, multi-channel communications and marketing and manage through channel-based experts that include employee, internal, external, social, earned, and paid media, thought leadership, digital, web, email, events
  • Ensure integrated messaging alignment across all communications working closely w/Ford Pro Communications team
  • Understand competitive landscape to develop clear value proposition for Ford Pro to win, prior to developing materials
  • Develop Go-To-Market materials , messaging and positioning by audience that drives customer/consumer engagement and dealer support
  • Champion brand strategy and ensure integrated Ford Pro brand and five vertical messaging alignment across all marketing
  • Develop and execute a strategic integrated communications and marketing calendar
  • Partner with product/service/ solutions owners within Ford Pro to develop marketing communications strategies and campaigns
  • Working with business vertical leads in Vehicles, Software, Charging, Financing and Service, stablish campaign goals, targets and KPIS and develop integrated journey measuring and reporting out on campaign outcomes, optimizing the spend and deliverables along the way to achieve desired outcomes.


Executive Dealer Communications


  • Create and execute strategic internal and external communication plans for executive leaders to drive increased engagement with the Ford Pro dealer network to drive increased exposure for the leaders and the business
  • Define key messaging for executive leaders to share with employees and dealers to drive engagement and performance
  • Consult and advise leaders through the lens of employee engagement, customer engagement, dealer engagement and external engagement


Experiences and Events


  • Ensure the management of event details, logistics, planning, budgeting and measurement by the Experiences and Event team
  • Work with agencies and partners to execute events
  • Oversee the development of branded events and experiences for customers and stakeholders
  • Oversee marketing and event management of company/industry events and trade shows


Basic Requirements


  • 10+ years of experience in senior-level marketing and communications roles
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Excellent communicator, content developer and storyteller
  • Ability to develop and navigate relationships at all levels and collaborate with corporate and business unit teams
  • Experience developing, leading and implementing integrated marketing and communications strategies and plans
  • Experience managing agencies and other marketing and communications partners
  • Marketing and measurement-oriented mindset
  • Brand strategy expertise
  • Knowledge of automotive and commercial automotive industry
  • Ability to navigate complex environments and create clarity in communications
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to coach and counsel C-suite executives and be a trusted advisor
