- Work closely with brand marketing and product marketing to build upon our broader campaigns and audience strategies, tailoring programs and tactics to reach our business audiences
- Manage complex decisions and problems, using high judgment and expertise to mitigate risks created by complexity and make trade offs to ensure the right outcomes
- Partner closely with functions across marketing including Growth Marketing, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, International Marketing, PR & Communications as well as Sales & Success, Product, and Finance, to align on strategic objectives and goals
- Develop a clear strategy for our global B2B marketing ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and broader company mission, leveraging sales enablement content and account specific marketing, lifecycle, events, PR, customer programs, etc.
- Develops long term B2B marketing objectives, strategies and tactics; proactively identifies gaps and opportunities
- Determine the right mix of investment across audiences, channels and markets to drive outcomes
- Accountable for pipeline delivered and quality of support / enablement delivered to GTM teams
- Own management of the Business Marketing budget, working closely with Finance and the other functional team leads
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Brand Marketing, Content/Creative, Media, Growth Marketing, Partnerships, Product Marketing, International Marketing, etc.
- Leads an organization of multiple layers (and specialties) with team members in multiple geographies
- Uses expertise to design team structures to meet long term business goals
- Creates a culture that embodies Canva’s values. Builds diverse and inclusive teams and focuses on team member wellbeing
- Ensures the right people are in the right roles, creates growth and development opportunities, and builds highly effective and engaged teams
- Able to set a vision, design a strategy, and align the organization on the achievement of goals/priorities
- Hire across central, regional and local teams and build highly aligned and empowered teams to drive impact
- Evolve roles and responsibilities and ways of working across teams to ensure efficiency and impact
- Work closely with the Head of International Marketing to build out a scalable approach to B2B marketing across our key priority markets
- Experience working across both B2B and B2C brands, and managing variety of functions including some growth marketing, experiential, content marketing, customer marketing, brand and PR and communications.
- A self-starter with tenacity for execution and delivery and scalability
- You have 3+ years in a B2B SaaS environment, driving high value customer acquisition, conversion, retention and expansion. PLG experience is a big bonus.
- You have aligned and led cross-functional and global teams with detailed written and visual communications
- You are able to grow, inspire and coach high performing teams
- Strong at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects
- You have navigated complex stakeholder environments to drive tangible business outcomes
- You have 10+ years experience in Marketing, with 8+ years leading global teams
