About the role.

As General Manager, Retail you will build, scale and manage the company's business with retail partners. This role is expansive, requiring strong relationship building with external partners, managing a P&L, and working cross-functionally to design & stand-up operations of an entirely new business line. You'll make key decisions, influence company strategy, and hold responsibility for the success of the managed care vertical at Jabra Enhance, effectively operating as the "CEO" of a business within a business. This role reports directly to the COO and will work closely with leadership across the organization.

What you'll do.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy & Securing Partnerships
  • Draft the member journey for partners in conjunction with internal operations and product teams
  • Build go-to-market strategy for retail vertical, including market analysis, partner proposition, sales strategy and product offering
  • Outline key deal terms and lead contract negotiation & execution with internal Legal team and external partner
  • Model and position product offering and pricing, including revenue, profit margin to company & partner, with internal management and finance teams
  • Identify the right partners that fit the go-to-market strategy, and build & pitch proposals to them
    • Build go-to-market strategy for retail vertical, including market analysis, partner proposition, sales strategy and product offering

  • Establish yourself as the lead point-of-contact with the partner, ensuring a strong relationship, identifying their needs and key decision-makers, and keeping an open communication channel
  • Communicate partnership progress internally and externally on recurring cadence
  • Build and hire (as needed) the appropriate organizational structure and operating processes to manage the business
  • Identify what success metrics look like for both organizations, and work with internal teams to build, report and review them with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and recommend solutions on how to grow partnership revenue and achieve success metrics, and help prioritize work required with internal teams and external partners

  • 3+ years of experience in the retail space preferred, but not required
