Job Description
Gunner is a premier home improvement company that has grown exponentially year over year and recently landed #965 of Inc. 5000 fastest growing private companies! Our award winning website allows a consumer to purchase online without the hassle of dealing with a salesperson. As such, we’re rapidly growing and looking for a General Manager to be the first hire in our new office location in Cromwell, CT.


The General Manager will be responsible for the overall growth and success of this new location by embracing change, providing excellent leadership to both sales and project management teams and focusing on the customer experience. This is a player/coach role and industry experience is a plus!


Gunner provides a paid 2 month training as part of our onboarding process!


Job Duties


  • Find and vet crews for designated territories and project specialties
  • Train new hires on company software and processes
  • Monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Collaborate with HQ on hiring needs and participate in hiring process for Gunner branch
  • Oversee sales and project management team to ensure productivity and growth month over month
  • Onboarding and offboarding
  • Utilize Hubspot CRM
  • Player/Coach role; selling, project management and growing the team to oversee


Requirements


  • Strong leadership skills, a must
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience growing and managing teams
  • Must have an unlimited drive to succeed and a positive attitude
  • Self starter with a do what it takes mentality
  • Coachable with outstanding communication and listening skills
  • Construction experience, a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Drone pilot license, a plus
