FRACTIONAL CMO
Established over 8 years, Boho Locs is the no.1 crochet hair extension brand in the world and following on from a period of growth we are now seeking a fractional CMO to drive further growth by improving our marketing campaigns with clear strategy and strong leadership.
This is a part-time position of up to 2 days a week and you will be provided with a dedicated marketing team, consisting of a paid media agency, a CRM freelancer, a freelance copywriter, a full time social media and content coordinator and a full time general marketing administrator. They will deliver against the strategy and vision set out by you.
Responsibilities: -
VISION AND MARKETING STRATEGY
Collaborate with CEO and COO in the development of the Brand vision, mission & strategy
Translating the vision and strategy into relatable goals for marketing team (Identify KPI’s and ways to measure towards them OKRs etc - implement process)
Actively design effective outward marketing strategies to drive growth.
Design and manage a team-wide branding strategy, so all aspects of the team work cohesively and with strong brand presence.
Creation and delivery of full marketing strategy and calendar.
Advise on branding, positioning and communications.
PEOPLE:
Assessment of marketing teams readiness to implement strategy
Ensuring the marketing team is structured to achieve strategic goals

Discover new opportunities for your business’s growth and naturally grow our sales
Developing marketing talent requirements
Develop and deliver the marketing talent agenda
Creating marketing job descriptions
Develop marketing onboarding and offboarding process
Assist marketing team to understand their target demographic.
Developing the professional performance of marketing team
Daily management of marketing team.
MARKETING OPERATIONS:
Messaging - help team understand their target demographic and how to convey value to them appropriately.
Audit current marketing practices and optimize them for growth.
Tracking KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness
Setting marketing budget
Managing Paid media and measuring its effectiveness.
Setting digital marketing budgets
Streamline the day-to-day operations of the team and to guide them toward self-set goals and company objectives.
Ensure that the business has the technology in place to track metrics optimally in addition to monitoring the efficacy of our marketing efforts.
Conduct research to understand current trends, and competitor analysis of the space.
Provide reports on research carried out for all marketing channels.
Supporting reward model planning where appropriate.
