GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Employer Relationship Coordinators (ERC) are charged with strategically identifying and building relationships with employers with the primary goal of creating clinical and full-time employment opportunities for MedCerts graduates, as well as sharing potential employer partnership leads with the Workforce Development team. The ERC team collaborates closely with Career Coaches to support students and graduates in their search for a clinical site or full-time employment, assist them with the application process, and collect employment outcomes data.
A successful candidate will be responsible for meeting or exceeding key performance goals related to establishing contact with prospective employers, identifying new employment opportunities, promoting them through the Career Center, and connecting students with employers in their assigned region. The ERC will also collaborate with employers on their needs for future candidates to establish and maintain relationships that positions MedCerts as a preferred partner for their talent pipeline.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow industry trends locally and nationally to anticipate future talent needs
- Support students with the application process
- Acquire an in-depth knowledge of MedCerts programs and student requirements
- Post employer profiles and jobs in Career Center
- Work with a standard team load of 100-150 actively engaged career-seeking students
- Report on successes and areas needing improvements
- Meet key performance goals by creating and maintaining employer partnerships
- Meet daily outreach goals focused on building relationships with employers and respond to employer outreach
- Nurture relationships with existing employer partners
- Promote employment opportunities to students through phone and email communication
- Draft and review contracts and affiliation agreements
- Increase Post Completion Employment Rates by collecting employment information
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working to and exceeding targets
- High-level communication skills
- Previous experience in recruitment, employer relations, business development, or sales
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
- Critical thinker and problem-solver
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in employer relations or recruiting
- Existing network of HR administrators or hiring managers in healthcare settings
- In-depth understanding of healthcare settings and hiring qualifications

WORKING CONDITIONS
This is currently a remote-based position in which work will be completed during normal business hours (approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm).
