Employee Benefits Account Manager

The ideal candidate will be able to marketing and servicing employee benefits accounts, as assigned. This includes servicing and processing both new business and renewals, as well as inputting and maintaining account records in the agency management system. Work with clients, account executives and insurance carrier representatives to process business and resolve account issues.

Responsibilities

• Services all accounts (quotes, new business, renewals, etc.) as assigned
• Review and analyze all incoming applications and accompanying documentation; if further documentation is required will contact Client, Management or Account Executive to assure timely completion.
• Develop new business and renewal quotations and proposals for Account Executives. Create coverage and benefit comparisons and works on special projects upon request.

Qualifications

• Previous account management experience with a health insurance carrier or employee benefits brokerage is preferred.
• Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
