Obtain full working knowledge of Agency Management System Policy coding Producer/Carrier Commission

Maintain effective information management between Account Manager, Producer and Carrier through all applicable means of communication, where applicable

Obtain full working knowledge of Benefit activities

Operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages. Above average skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Word documents

Experience servicing and supporting employee benefits accounts: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, HSA, FSA, HRA, etc. insurance lines of coverage

3+ years of experience handling Employee Benefit Accounts

Experience working with a wide-ranged sized groups.

Experience with assisting on group insurance plan design, plan comparisons, open enrollment meetings for new and renewal business, and more

Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must have 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the insurance, risk management, or financial services industry

Documenting all client activity and correspondence into agency management tools and software systems

Maintaining data integrity in the agency management system

Providing the Gibson client experience to existing accounts and potential clients

Developing and retaining solid partnerships with clients’, HR managers and other client support staff

Benefit Guides, brochures, flyers and payroll stuffers

Customer service, relationship management or research related experience in a corporate environment

Research a broad range of inquiries/issues and determine potential solutions/alternatives; escalate more complex issues to management.

Gather data from multiple systems to interpret, troubleshoot and resolve issues; escalate to management as appropriate.

Develop knowledge of voluntary benefits and systems.

Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent combination of education/experience

Financial services, insurance or account manager experience

Two (2) years of employee benefits experience preferred

Experience working with UltiPro/UKGPro preferred

Assist employee health & benefits producer and team in servicing existing accounts in every capacity, including renewals

2+ years previous insurance industry experience with a brokerage or agency environment

Must have strong proficiency in analyzing cost/benefit ratios, utilization analysis and developing methodology for administration of Section 125 Plans and COBRA.

Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, experienced with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.; charts/graphs is a plus.

1 – 3 years in a similar role, Preferred prior broker experience.

Knowledge of medical, dental, vision and ancillary coverages

Review spreadsheets and compare carrier proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with requested provisions.

Prepare proposals including contribution modeling, and plan modeling; ability to make recommendations to internal team.

Work with carriers for renewal review, negotiations, and plan alternatives

Demonstrated skills: problem-solving, sense of urgency, detail-oriented, excellent organizational and time management, follow through and ability to work independently

Work with Health Risk Management team in the analysis of claims data and development of additional value-add reporting

Familiar with the use of an Agency Management System and Document Management System

Ensure information in Benefit Point is up-to-date and accurate

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional presentation skills

Provide day-to-day customer service to clients, including helping to resolve issues related to billing, claims and eligibility

Experience - You have 2+ years of employee benefits experience in the insurance industry

Tech-savvy - You are technologically savvy with EPIC, Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and other databases management systems
