As our team grows, we are looking to hire a newly created role of Director, Operations & Logistics to lead and optimize the entire logistics, supply chain, and operations function; managing forecasting and packaging and collaborating closely with cross-functional departments. They will work to ensure the efficient and effective execution of our supply chain operations and enhance our overall productivity by streamlining processes, improving customer satisfaction, and driving cost-effective solutions. They should have an exception eye for detail, be dedicated to creating an excellent experience for our clients while finding simple and effective solutions. This role will report in to the CEO.

You Will...

• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and partners to optimize the sourcing and procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Partner with Wholesale in all inventory and logistical needs including RTV, chargebacks, EDI, etc
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, packaging, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution; streamlining operational workflows and identifying opportunities for process automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and improve the accuracy of order fulfillment, tracking, and delivery processes to meet customer expectations
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing transportation routes, and managing freight costs
• Partner with internal and external teams to continually raise the bar of delivering a luxurious and sustainable customer experience, owning what that looks like in the context of responsiveness to inquiries as well as deliveries of orders
• Work closely with our Customer Service team to identify near and long-term opportunities, understanding the internal business perspective on the ways of working that have been established to date and establishing new SLA/KPI targets that improves the customer experience without compromising business objectives
• Develop and implement logistics, supply chain, and operational strategies, continuously evaluating market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvements
• Implement performance metrics and analytics to evaluate operational efficiency; identifying areas for optimization and cost reduction, tracking monthly costs to budget and reviewing invoicing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, negotiating favorable contracts and ensuring high-quality service levels
• Implement robust inventory control systems to minimize stockouts, reduce carrying costs, and maximize operational efficiency
• Foster a culture of operational excellence, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and accountability within the greater VBB team
• Identify, establish and maintain best couriers by cost and performance by territory
• Work closely with Finance to manage and plan all incoming inventory
• Lead the management of existing and future warehouses throughout the US, UK, and EU, managing VAT, end to end RFP process, etc

You Have...

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management systems, inventory management software, and data analytics tools
• Strong analytical abilities - constantly finding efficiencies
• Excellent communication verbal and written
• 7+yrs of proven experience in logistics (including transportation, carrier management & order fulfilment), supply chain management, or operations, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional and external teams
