Position: Associate Operations Planner

This role assists in the delivery of products to the customer teams and warehouses by supporting with reporting, production tracking, systems maintenance, and vendor relationships. Your Impact

Vendor Management

• Build strong partnerships with Global Transportation and vendor bases to expedite components and finished goods; influence earlier delivery times where possible
• Communicate new launch forecasts to vendors
• Assist with portal transactions (partner with Inventory Control, Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers) / troubleshoot issues such as quantity and date discrepancies
• Track and ensure the timely movement of inventory (finished goods and components)

Inventory Management

• Partner with Ops Planners & Inventory Control to ensure inventory accuracies in SAP
• Expedite component shipments and communicate the impact on production
• Manage detailed Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy; work closely with Inventory Control during Book to Book to identify BOM issues and resolve
• Ensure accurate set-up of all master data in SAP and PLM

Reporting & Data Management

• Track and set-up New Article Launch in SAP systems
• Daily management of production issues at vendor base; make recommendations and communicate downstream impact when issues arise
• Purchase order date/system management
• Generate weekly and ad/hoc reports

Minimum Salary: $54,800.00

Maximum Salary: $71,925.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications

• Ability to build and foster strong trusted advisor relationships with internal and external partners
• Highly detail oriented, accurate, and can work well in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to be a team player and to foster a commitment to team work among other associates
• 1-3 years of supply chain experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• SAP/PLM & Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to work independently; be curious, entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and take initiative
