Job Description
Would you consider yourself a cautious risk taker? REQUIREMENTS:
Education Level: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least five years of Marketing Management experience preferred.
Experience Required:
a. Branding and marketing experience.
b. Community engagement.
c. Social media strategy development and implementation.
d. Experience coordinating and planning events.
e. Business writing, grammar, and storytelling skills.
f. Vendor and project management.
g. Non-profit management and understanding of fundraising best practices a plus.
h. Must be organized, deadline driven, have a excellent sense of design.
i. General office experience including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe suite products.
REPORTS TO: President
RECEIVES GUIDANCE FROM: Director’s Team, Marketing Committee, & Development Team
SUPERVISES: Marketing team (1-3 individuals)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for developing and implementing all communication and marketing strategies of the organization.
In partnership with the Development Team, Board of Directors, and Foundation Directors, develop annual communication plans and strategies, including budgets, benchmarks and goals.
Develop work plans and action steps to achieve strategic objectives.
Manage brand identity and integrity through all communications of the Foundation.
Prepare regular progress reports to staff and board.
Develop and implement a communication plan with LPS communications team.
Increase awareness of Foundation activities.
Responsible for the creation and publication of all marketing and communication materials.
Manage, write, and curate electronic and printed content for acknowledgements, newsletters, fundraising appeals, campaign materials, email communications, website, social media, and other communication tools that support donor engagement and general public awareness.
Develop and oversee messaging and materials for all Foundation projects, campaigns and programs as needed.
Oversee and approve the production and design of all printed, video, and electronic materials.
Oversee marketing email platform and train staff for consistent use.
Manage vendor relationships, designs, and deadlines.
Manage all social media strategies of the organization.
Develop multi-channel outreach strategies using curated and original content from key stakeholder and national perspectives.
Ensure the consistent production of fresh content across platforms.
Develop, curate, and implement the content management and annual production calendar to support the fundraising and outreach goals of the Foundation.
Working with a team, create special events that align with communication and fund development strategies.
Work with the board of directors and Foundation staff to plan and design high-performing special events.
Responsible for participant experience, theme, and alignment with the Foundation’s communication strategy.
Coordinate, schedule, and communicate with all appropriate staff and non-staff participants to ensure a smooth event.
Work with Development team to curate a high-quality experience for targeted donors.
Guide and support the activities of the Marketing committee of the Board.
Work with the committee to establish and monitor goals.
Organize agendas, record minutes, and prepare packets for monthly meetings.
Coordinate and distribute appropriate information and background to key stakeholders.
Provide information to other committees of the board as requested.
Communicate meeting times and materials to staff for agency calendar and board coordination.
Oversee and conduct audience survey and research projects including but not limited to LPS staff surveys, donor surveys, program perceptions and other data gathering activities.
Other duties include but not limited to:
Attend all board and executive committee meetings.
Support special projects of the Foundation as needed.
Serve as an ambassador to the community.
Conduct employee reviews of direct reports (1-3 individuals).
Assist in answering agency main phone line.
Volunteer 8 hours/year in the LPS system.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use. Occasional evening and weekend work is required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
